- One or two letters read best at tiny sizes; a full word becomes illegible at 16px — save wordmarks for headers, not icons.
- Check the 16px preview before downloading: if the letters blur together, increase font weight or contrast rather than shrinking to fit more characters.
- Gradients look great at large sizes but test the solid-color fallback too — some contexts (email signatures, print) reproduce gradients poorly.
